The cottage at Tigin Tui was absolutely delightful. The attention to detail in the decoration was simply charming, creating a warm and cozy ambiance. As a senior woman, I appreciated the thoughtfulness put into the design, making it easily accessible for guests with any mobility limitations. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and provided a relaxing atmosphere for all ages.
A small improvement that would have made my stay even more enjoyable is if there were handrails installed in certain areas, especially near the stairs. This would ensure better safety and support for senior guests like myself.

I had the most wonderful stay at Tigin Tui in Carndonagh! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a delightful welcome basket filled with freshly baked scones, butter, milk, and homemade jam. Gerard, the host, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and even took the time to provide recommendations and directions to local attractions. The cottage itself was oozing with history and charm, and I felt so at home sitting in the living room, imagining all the stories that had unfolded within its walls. The location was perfect for exploring the scenic beauty of Donegal, and coming back to a cozy and warm house each day was a treat. I also appreciated the access to a washing machine, as it made my stay even more convenient. I highly recommend Tigin Tui for an authentic and unforgettable getaway.

The host, Gerard, was the coolest dude ever. He hooked us up with freshly baked scones and gave us insider tips on the sickest places to stop along the way. The cottage itself was full of history and we felt like rockstars chillin' in the living room. The location was perfect for hiking and exploring, and we had a blast adventuring in the area. Can't wait to go back!
If there was one thing we wished for, it's that there was a sick hangout spot in the garden. Like, we wanted a comfy place to chill and soak up the vibes.

We enjoyed the warm and cozy atmosphere of the property, thanks to a lovely coal fire and a friendly and warm-hearted owner. The location was also great, with easy access to nearby towns and beautiful beaches. Another advantage was the provision of homemade goodies like delicious berry jam and bread, which added a nice touch to our stay.
The mattress in one of the rooms was uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. It might just be a personal preference, but it was definitely a downside for us.

The location of this cottage was fantastic for exploring the beautiful surroundings and attractions of the area. We were close to stunning beaches, shops, and restaurants, making it convenient for our stay. The owner of the cottage was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The cottage itself was cozy and had a lovely fireplace that was set up for us each day, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
One downside of the cottage was its proximity to a busy road, which resulted in some noise. we noticed that there was no oven, only a microwave, which was a bit inconvenient for cooking meals.

The kids were thrilled by the breathtaking views and the chance to immerse themselves in nature. The location was perfect, offering a variety of trails suitable for all ages and abilities. We were able to create unforgettable memories while enjoying the great outdoors.
For dads, it would be great to have a playground on-site for the kids to enjoy and burn off some energy.

We had a fantastic stay at Tigín Tui, a charming thatched cottage near stunning beaches and attractions like Malin Head. Gerard, the owner, was welcoming and ensured the cottage was warm with a cozy fire each day. The location was ideal for exploring the Inishowen Peninsula, with shops and restaurants nearby. The homemade jam and bread were delicious, and the kids loved the bunk bed. We also appreciated the laundry facilities on site. Highly recommend for an authentic Inishowen experience.
Would be happy to recommend this beautiful cottage for a genuine Inishowen experience.

We had a blast hiking through the stunning countryside and exploring the breathtaking beaches nearby. The homemade scones were an absolute game-changer, and the owner, Ger, was an absolute legend. This place is perfect for young adventurers seeking some serious fun!
The only thing we would have loved is a cool hangout spot or a little party area where we could have some awesome parties with our friends. But other than that, our stay at Tigin Tui was off the charts!

Great location, close to shops and public transportation. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the surrounding area. The hotel also offered free Wi-Fi, which was convenient for staying connected during my stay.
The noise from the nearby road was quite loud, especially during the night. The lack of soundproof windows made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
